Heather has served as Chair of the Education Committee and Board Member since 2024, focusing her passion for community development into her role as Community Development Director for the Alexandria Housing and Redevelopment Authority. With a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Non-profit Management from the University of the Rockies, Heather combines expertise and dedication in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community that everyone can be proud to call home.
A proud resident of Alexandria for over 21 years, Heather cherishes time with her family- her husband, Dave; their adult children, Jameson and Ashtyn; and their two beloved dogs, Ellie and Kai. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, biking, rollerblading, reading, traveling, and embracing the beauty of lake life.
