The 2017 Women’s March inspired hundreds of women to run, millions more to vote, and dozens to win elected office. The 2019 Women’s March marks two years of standing up for issues important to women and families, two years of training new activists, and two years of building power. On January 19, 2019, we’re going to flood the streets of Washington, D.C., and cities across the globe. The #WomensWave is coming, and we’re sweeping the world forward with us.

Minnesota, it's time to march again! We're bringing a #WomensWave to west-central Minnesota on January 19th 2019. Join us!

Minnesota marches include St. Paul, St. Cloud, Alexandria, Bemidji, Barnum, and Thief River Falls, in Minnesota. Locally the past two year we’ve marched in Morris, MN, this year it will be in Alexandria, sponsored by the West-Central MN Indivisible Group of Douglas County.

Where: Douglas County Library, 720 Fillmore St, Alexandria
When: Staging beginning at 1:00pm, in entry area of library lobby, will start soon after (dress warm), or wait in Meeting Room for Rally following march (bring own signs or use ours)
Parking: South, Upper Lot of Library (corner of 9th & Fillmore)
Length: Short 6-block route (or meet us at Broadway & 10th)
Rally: Following march in large meeting room of the Library, speakers, music, and coffee
