Dana is a new addition to the Inclusion Network Board (2025) and he is looking forward to learning from other Board members. He and his wife Becky are from Alexandria, but he started his career in education in the Chicago area, where he taught middle school English for nine years. Once they had children, they moved back to Alexandria to be near family. He has been a teacher and a principal in Alexandria for the past twenty-six years. He believes Alexandria is a great place to raise a family and will work to ensure that it is a welcoming and inviting place for all.
Dana graduated with a B.A. in English from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. He also has a master’s degree from National Louis University and a license in education administration from Saint Mary’s University. He enjoys reading and exercising.
